Jennifer Weiss | Chief Executive Officer
Jennifer has nearly 25 years of executive leadership experience with Boys & Girls Clubs in Sonoma County and San Francisco. Jennifer has a Masters in Business Administration from University of California, Berkeley and a BA from University of Florida. She is passionate about leading with high expectations of excellence and maximizing every opportunity to change the lives of community youth. Jennifer has been a marketing leader at Gap, Inc. and an executive in Sales and Marketing for Shea Homes. Jennifer serves on many groups focused on at-risk youth and on the board of TLC Child and Family Services.
Michelle Edwards | Vice President of Youth Impact
Michelle has worked as a leader in Sonoma County community based organizations for 10 years. She is passionate about advocating for kids in our community through our Club programs. She holds a Master’s Degree in Organization Development and received her BA from the University of Memphis. In addition to her work locally, she serves as a National Peer Consultant to help Boys & Girls Clubs change lives across the country.
Dana McCune | Vice President of Youth Impact
Dana has over 23 years experience with the YMCA of San Francisco, Marin Branch Youth Development Department which consisted of licensed child care, state funded preschool, camp, teens, sports, and restorative practices. She obtained her BA from Sonoma State University in Liberal Studies and and an AA in Child Development. She is excited to be able to make an impact to a larger community base!
Jason Weiss | Vice President of Special Projects
Jason has been working with Boys & Girls Clubs since 1990; the summer after he first moved up from Los Angeles to attend Sonoma State University where he graduated with a BS in Sociology and Criminal Justice. Jason served as a Boys & Girls Club CEO for 17 years and has returned to help reacquaint former Boys & Girls Club supporters in Petaluma with the organization and develop new relationships and partnerships in Petaluma and Marin County.
Lotasha Thomas | Controller
Lotasha Thomas oversees the financial and administrative divisions of the organization and brings over 10 years of accounting and non-profit experience to her current role. She began her accounting career in the public sector, with local accounting firm, Dillwood Burkel & Millar, LLP. Prior to Boys & Girls Clubs, she worked for six years as the Controller for Anova Education & Behavior Consultation. Lotasha holds a Master of Business Administration and BA in Business Accounting from Sonoma State University and is also a Certified Public Accountant. Lotasha is a Bay Area native and enjoys spending time with her family and reading a good book.
Jeanne Kearns | Vice President of Resource Development
Jeanne Kearns oversees the marketing, outreach, and fundraising strategies for the organization. Prior to joining Boys & Girls Clubs, Jeanne worked for seven years as Director of Development at the University of California, Santa Barbara where she most recently led the creation and implementation of the development program for the National Center for Ecological Analysis and Synthesis. She also headed the fundraising alliance for the Science for Nature and People Partnership, a collaboration between The Nature Conservancy, Wildlife Conservation Society, and the UC Santa Barbara. She has held Development roles with the Stanford Jazz Workshop, San Francisco Film Society, and the California Film Institute and brings over 15 years of non-profit fundraising experience in the Arts and Education to her current role. Jeanne has a Masters with Commendation in Irish Politics from the School of Politics, International Studies and Philosophy at Queen’s University Belfast, Northern Ireland and a BA in Film Studies from UC Santa Barbara. As a Santa Rosa native, Jeanne is delighted to have relocated back to her hometown with her husband and two small children.
Allison Nall | Resource Development Manager
Allison was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida where she resided until coming to work for Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Sonoma County. She worked in community outreach and leadership programming as an undergraduate student before working in the conservation field for several years. When she decided to go back to graduate school, she pursued a Masters in Psychology and Data Analysis. While in her graduate program, she interned and worked for the local Health Department, creating a directory of services for an under served impoverished area, while simultaneously running a County Commission Campaign. She also served as a research assistant in a pediatric HIV lab, where she worked directly with young patients and produced her thesis research, which was aimed at understanding how stigma, among other factors, impacts HIV testing rates among youth. This research lead her to realize how much she loves working to benefit others and coordinating large-scale efforts to raise awareness and funding for those in need. Allison relocated to Healdsburg in July 2018 to join the BGCCSC team.

Roddrick Sweeny, Sr. | Senior Director of Youth Impact
Roddrick Sweeney, Sr. is a dedicated recreation and youth development professional with more than 25 years of experience creating programs and services that develop leaders and build strong and healthy communities. Roddrick believes strongly in the potential of recreation and youth programs to inspire, empower and change lives, and he has dedicated his own life to this important work. He most recently managed recreation programs for the City of American Canyon. Previously, he founded the Roger Sweeney Youth Recreation Program and provided physical education and recreational programs, intramural sports leagues, and summer day camps to 600 youth annually in Marin County. He began his career playing professional baseball with the Los Angeles Dodgers organization. He has coached youth soccer, baseball, basketball and football within his local community. He enjoys spending his spare time with his family and helping others. Roddrick is excited to join the Boys and Girls Club of Central Sonoma County and looks forward to positively impacting the lives of program participants.
Alicia Morales | Area Director
Alicia Morales has been in the field of education since 2001. She attended Sonoma State University where she earned her Master’s Degree in Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education. While attending Sonoma State, she worked as a preschool teacher on campus for 10 years before joining the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Sonoma County in 2012. With many years’ experience working with young children Alicia enjoys mentoring our team how to best work with our youngest Members, focusing on developing the skills necessary to succeed in and out of school whether or not they had the opportunity to attend preschool. She is passionate about teaching our Members how to be resilient, caring, responsible and productive citizens. Alicia lives in beautiful West County with her son, who attends a local school.
Mike Gomez | Area Director
Mike has been a part of this community almost his entire life. Mike grew up in the town of Windsor and attended school in the Windsor Unified School District. Mike then went on to attend the University of California Davis and graduated with a degree in Economics. After graduating college, Mike explored the areas of finance, but would find his passion working with youth when starting to work for Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Sonoma County. Five years later this passion has developed into a long term career aimed at changing Members lives and helping those who need us most.
Rebecca Carrillo | Area Director
A California native,Rebecca has worked in youth development and education for over fifteen years and is thrilled to bring her experience and skills to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Sonoma County. While attending the University of San Francisco, she worked as a literacy tutor at a local elementary school and discovered her passion for community-based youth development work. After graduating with a BA in International Studies, Rebecca directed after school and summer programs for under-resourced communities in San Francisco’s Mission District and facilitated an international experiential learning program for transition age youth. She is passionate about providing all our youth the access and resources needed to reach their full potential. When she isn’t creating amazing Club experiences for our members, Rebecca likes to hike with her dog, travel the world and cook delicious food for her friends and family.
Jade Weymouth | Area Director
Jade has worked with youth for almost 10 years. Her passion is supporting youth who need us most, in particular, empowering girls to follow their dreams. She received her BA from University of Santa Cruz, with an emphasis in Women’s Studies that focused on getting young Latinas college bound, she is currently enrolled at Sonoma State to receive her Master’s in Organizational Development. Jade currently lives in Cloverdale and ran the Healdsburg Boys & Girls Club for over 5 years; she believes in providing resources, creating learning experiences and opportunities for all of our North County families despite economic background. Jade oversees Boys & Girls Clubs in Cloverdale, Geyserville and Healdsburg. She works diligently to create robust programs, foster resiliency, and build community in North County.
Stella Gonzalez | Director of Program Services
Stella is a native of Asuncion, Paraguay. She has 20 years of Fitness and Management experience combined. She has an undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina Greensboro with concentration in Marketing. Stella is passionate about helping others reach their true potential. She has been helping people reach their fitness goals for many years, and is excited to use her skills in a positive way to impact young members of our community.
Katie Welch | Director of Program Services
Katie has over twelve years of experience working with youth in preschools, after-school programs, and teaching in classroom settings. Katie received her BA in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and her Elementary Teaching Credential from San Francisco State University. While Katie has spent the majority of her professional career working with children, she left the realm of education in 2009 to take a position in the corporate world as an executive team leader for Target. Finding that nothing for her was as rewarding as working with children, she is back and excited to help drive the Boys & Girls Club mission of impacting positive change in the lives of the youth that need it the most. Katie is most excited by the challenge of inspiring her team to develop high quality programs that incorporate fun and foster positive social relationships.

Olivia Bidaurreta | Director of Intervention & Diversion Services
Olivia, a Petaluma native, has 7 years of Programmatic experience in Sonoma County Boys & Girls Clubs. She attended Dominican University of California and graduated with a BA in Psychology. She has taught English as a Second Language abroad and has background in alternative education. A firm believer in living a whole hearted life, Olivia is passionate about expanding youth’s perspectives, challenging their current narratives, and empowering them to find their voice and their vision. She is committed to investing in her community and breaking down barriers in order to support youth on their paths to becoming not only the best versions of themselves, but also caring and productive community members.
Daniel Alverez | Director of Athletics
Danny Alvarez is a Petaluma native with a passion for using sports as a tool for building confidence, health, and friendship in our youth. With over four years of Boys & Girls Club experience, Danny is proud to have built strong relationships with local players, parents,volunteers, and community supporters. He believes that every child,regardless of background or ability, can be given a positive youth sports experience that inspires a healthy and active lifestyle later on. Danny attended Sonoma State University where he earned his BA in Sociology and a minor in Environmental Studies and Planning. Danny has served as the Sport Club Student Coordinator with SSU Campus Recreation, as well as the Recreation Sports Coordinator with the City of Calistoga. Now back in his home town, Danny loves giving back to the incredible Petaluma community.
