HELP KIDS THIS HOLIDAY SEASON
Club Families need your help this holiday season.
For the past 17 years, we've tried to make the holiday season brighter for hundreds of Club families. Through our annual gift drive, we collect gift cards to spread holiday cheer across Sonoma & Marin counties. Your monetary donation & family adoption will help us in this effort!
You can help a specific family in our community this holiday season. We’ll provide a letter written by our Club Staff on the family’s behalf. This letter will share their story and ideas of what they need this holiday season. The rest is magic (that you provide)!

How to Participate:
Email Hayley Bly to receive a family letter(s) from your community
Collect/Purchase gift cards as asked for in the letter. We recommend
about $150 per family member. This can look like:
One Grocery Card Gift Card (e.g. FoodMaxx, Safeway, etc.)
1-3 Household Store gift cards (e.g. Walmart, Target)
Ancillary requests like enrichment opportunities for the kids
A family outing for a meal, experience, etc.
Package & return collected gift cards by December 8.
Want to help but can’t adopt an entire family?

Q: Why aren’t you accepting physical gifts this year?
A: Receiving, processing, & gifting physical items GREATLY increases the work load & exposure to illness (of all forms) of our team. To keep our Clubs fully staffed & serving families this season, we want to limit large gatherings.
For example: If you send us a few coats & toys, a staff member has to receive the gift from the delivery person, a group of people have to be assigned to unpackage, organize, & wrap for each family. Then another staff member has to interact with each family to deliver.
By providing gift cards, we are able to drastically reduce risky contact at every step.
Q: Can I deliver the gifts/gift cards personally?
A: We love that you want to connect with our families directly. However, to protect their privacy and to help them celebrate the holiday with dignity, we keep Club family details private. We will make sure your gifts make their way to our families!
Q: I want to participate, but don’t want to adopt an entire family. Is that ok?
A: Absolutely! Feel free to make a donation to our holiday gift drive or purchase gift cards from Walmart, Target, Safeway, or Food Max in any amount. We will make sure they be included in a family’s holiday.
Q: When do I need to turn in the gift cards I’ve collected?
A: We’d like to have everything in our hands by December 1st at 1 PM. Our offices are located at 14oo N. Dutton Ave #24 in Santa Rosa and are open between 8:30-5pm Monday -Friday for deliveries. If you need to arrange another time, please email Hayley Bly at hbly@bgcsonoma-marin.org.
