VOLUNTEER

There are many ways to BUILD GREAT FUTURES with us!

If you’d like to volunteer directly with kids, volunteers are most often needed between 3 PM and 6 PM at various Club locations.

Want to support our Clubs, but not directly with kids? GREAT! We need your skills too! Learn more about how to get involved in the list to the right. Don’t see your idea listed? That’s ok! Contact us to learn more.

Interested in Volunteering with us? Reach out to volunteer@bgcsonoma-marin.org to get started.

  • Give back to your community at the Clubs and get your community service hours for school!

(All volunteers under the age of 18 must have a signed and returned parental release before they can start volunteering.)

  • Looking to have a better understanding of the day-to-day aspects of Boys & Girls Clubs? Our interns can be placed at a Club, in the office supporting administration, learning how to do community outreach, or even supporting our volunteer services department.

Interns will need to complete a background check and Child Abuse Prevention Training.

  • We need all caring adults to support our members at our Clubs.

You can facilitate a reading group for littles, help members who need more support with homework, run a sports or an art program, or become a Mentor. Have another passion or specialty – let us know!

(Adult Volunteers need to complete a background check and Child Abuse Prevention Training. )

  • This is a great way for corporations and organizations to give back to their community.

We plan half day engagement opportunities where teams will learn more about the Clubs and then roll up their sleeves to PLAY with our members.

Have another idea? Great! We can make it happen for your team.

  • Support our athletic programs as coaches, referees, & scoreboard keepers.

(Adults must complete a background check and Child Abuse Prevention Training. )

  • Want to help out but not directly with kids? OK!

We need all passionate adults to help our work. This could look like, a facilities volunteers, front desk volunteer, fundraising volunteer, social media volunteer, etc.

Let us know what you have in mind!

  • Leadership volunteers create awareness of our Club services in their communities and raise needed funds through the local businesses and residents.
