Executive Team

Jennifer Weiss
Chief Executive Officer

Jennifer has 30 years of executive leadership experience with Boys & Girls Clubs in Sonoma County and San Francisco. Jennifer has a Master's in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BA from the University of Florida. She is passionate about leading with high expectations of excellence and maximizing every opportunity to change the lives of community youth. Jennifer has grown our organization from 3 locations to 40, from serving 300 youth annually to 10,000. Additionally, Jennifer has been a marketing leader at Gap, Inc. and an executive in Sales and Marketing for Shea Homes.

Michelle Edwards Heery
Chief Development Officer

For over 12 years, Michelle has driven change for people in Sonoma County. She passionately advocates for Club kids by raising funds, building partnerships, and driving the expansion of access to high-quality programming for youth. She holds a Master’s Degree in Organization Development and received her BA from the University of Memphis. In addition to her entrepreneurial leadership within the organization, she serves as a senior leader at the local, regional, state, and national levels advocating for funding, driving programmatic excellence, and mentoring other Club professionals. 

Paul-Louis (‘P.L.’) Maillard 
Chief of Engagement & Inclusion

P.L. started his working life as a professional dancer in New York City, followed by a career as a physical therapist where he specialized in the treatment of traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries. His management career began at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center followed by 20 years with Kaiser Permanente, most recently as the Chief Administrative Officer for the Santa Rosa Medical Center.

P.L. earned his B.A. from UC Berkeley and his master’s in physical therapy (M.P.T.) from UC San Francisco. He also earned a master’s in healthcare administration (M.H.A.) from U.O.P and completed the Kaiser Permanente Executive Leadership Program (E.L.P.) at the Harvard Business School.

Jason Weiss
Vice President of Youth Impact

Jason has been working with Boys & Girls Clubs since 1990; the summer after he first moved up from Los Angeles to attend Sonoma State University where he graduated with a BS in Sociology and Criminal Justice.  Jason served as a Boys & Girls Club CEO for 17 years and has returned to help reacquaint former Boys & Girls Club supporters in Petaluma with the organization and develop new relationships and partnerships in Petaluma and Marin County.

Dana McCune
Vice President of Youth Impact

Dana has over 23 years of experience with the YMCA of San Francisco, Marin Branch Youth Development Department which consisted of licensed child care, state-funded preschool, camp, teens, sports, and restorative practices. She obtained her BA from Sonoma State University in Liberal Studies.

Nicole Saunders
Vice President of Youth Impact

Nicole has 15+ years of experience as a leader in youth development for several nonprofit organizations.  She is an experienced executive with a track record in strategic planning and organizational growth. Nicole also has experience working in both the public and private sectors, where she’s played a key role in the development and implementation of high-quality programs, supervised project managers, and created training initiatives. Nicole graduated from the Indiana Institute of Technology with a Master's in Business Administration. She is a mentor for rising leaders and serves on several boards. Nicole has spent the majority of her career working with youth and continues to be deeply committed to the cause.
