NBC Nightly News Report: Pass the Bricks Visits Roseland Community Clubhouse

It was an afternoon of high energy and bright smiles at the Roseland Community Clubhouse, as NBC Nightly News cameras captured the joy of a visit from Charlie Jeffers, founder of Pass the Bricks, a non-profit that brings the magic of LEGO to under-resourced communities. Club Kids stood tall and proud, beaming with excitement as they showcased their one-of-a-kind LEGO creations.

Club Kids were not only eager to play, but they were thrilled to be among all their friends participating in the video. The program inspired a great sense of belonging, representing the Clubhouse and organization at a national level.

Beyond the fun and excitement, these tiny bricks unlock a world of possibilities for young minds as LEGO play fosters essential skills like spatial reasoning, 3D thinking, and creative problem-solving. LEGO also nurtures curiosity, encourages collaboration, and ignites a passion for learning. Who knows, maybe one of our Club Kids will be the next architectural mastermind, thanks to the early inspiration sparked by a LEGO brick!

So, the next time you see a child engrossed in LEGO creations, remember, it's not just child's play – it’s about building the future, one colorful brick at a time!

A big thank you to Charlie Jeffers for bringing his incredible program to our Clubhouse and gifting our members with these amazing LEGO kits. The smiles on their faces said it all – it was an absolute BLAST!
